Recently I came across some testimonies of the Book of Mormon that had been given to me when I was a missionary serving in France. These testimonies were from some of my family members. I had taken them, translated them into French, hand-wrote them in the front of a copy of the Book of Mormon (Le Livre de Mormon), and gave them to people I contacted.
I love this book! It is a second witness to the Bible of Jesus Christ. When you read it, you will know and love the Lord. This book will help you know the Savior Jesus Christ more than any other book. It will reveal many truths of the gospel. This book will show you the way to peace and happiness now and forever.

I love reading these testimonies, and I plan on sharing all of the ones I still have on my blog. (I think I have lost a few of them.) On this testimony, I have written on the piece of paper, “Gave to a nice younger couple while street contacting. They seemed to really take a hold of it.”

I spent two years of my life, from 1991 to 1993 serving as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I still read The Book of Mormon every day. I read it this morning. I’m still learning and taking notes as I read. It brings me closer to God as I read the words of God’s prophets and of Jesus Christ Himself. It inspires me to be a better person. I don’t know if many understand that the Book of Mormon is a book about Jesus Christ. It is written by prophets who communicated with Jesus. He is the way, the truth, and the life. John 14:6 The Book of Mormon reinforces and clarifies the Bible. It does not replace it. It is a second witness of the veracity of the Son of God, that He lived, that He was resurrected, and that He lives today.
Loved your blog! Just a note for future reference on how to cite/tag your scriptures if you google John 14:6 LDS, it’ll bring up the scripture that you want plus it’ll have the verse that you want highlighted like so: https://www.lds.org/scriptures/nt/john/14.6 <<url that you might want to use.
Other than that I thought it was awesome! Love Joan 🙂
