Recently I came across some testimonies of the Book of Mormon that had been given to me when I was a missionary serving in France. These testimonies were from some of my family members. I had taken them, translated them into French, hand-wrote them in the front of a copy of the Book of MormonContinue reading “Testimony of the Book of Mormon – Joan”
I wanted to share this music on YouTube so former missionaries and friends in France could enjoy this music. I love the music and the message, and it reminds me of Christmas, serving in France, listening to this tape. I hope you enjoy it. There are probably some French mistakes. I normally would be writing this blog and posting it right away, but a little thing happened yesterday which has kind of put a kink in things and might have taken a couple years off my life due to the stress it has caused. Let’s backtrack. I own a company that imports cables and weContinue reading “Bitcoin & blackmail”
This week I have had two different friends touring through southern France and posting pictures of the town of Carcasonne. I have enjoyed seeing their pictures that they have posted of this incredible medieval city. A couple years ago, I was trying to light our propane BBQ and kept clicking on the ignite button. It wasn’t working, so I turned off the gas and went to find a lighter. I came back with one of those long lighters, turned back on the gas, and started clicking the lighter. BOOM! It ignited and apparently there were gas fumes all over
Today was a special day. 25 years ago I was serving an LDS mission in southern France. As a male missionary you normally serve for 2 years. (Females serve for 18 months). I gave it my all for these two years and it made me a better person and helped shape me into who I am today.

Shawn and I have been close friends for almost 20 years. His podcast is uplifting and just makes you feel good. He interviews interesting members of TheContinue reading “Latter Day Lives Podcast”
